14 June Woke up in the morning feeling how stupid I am to accept going to work when I am flying in the evening. Honestly the trip to work is so frustrating. Anyway the girl who is replacing me came to work today. Telling her where everything is all day and that’s tiring. When I got to the airport I bought a little notepad to write things down about the trip. The airport is having more and more shops which is good for killing time. I am surprise that British Airway is getting much better. The food are good and now you can choose whatever movie you would like to watch. So I wasn’t really bored during the flight. 15 June 
Arrived 5 am. Trying the called home but cannot remember the number of the phonecard. Got to Fulham, where Michael lived, around 7am. Quick shower before going to Central London with Mike who is heading to work in Langham hotel.  The Langham London
Went to Pret A Manger for Breakfast and a 4 hours walk started after that. It was always nice to walk around London with no particular places I wanted to go. Just walked to wherever it interested me. It took me an hour and a bit to get from oxford circuit to embankment. 
Then walk along the River Thames to see the Big Ben and West Minister. Up the Parliament road to the Downing Street. 
Walked pass the House Guard and there are marching there so stayed there for a while. 
Then walking along the Mall to Buckingham Palace. I wondered why there are so many broadcasting van in Beckingham Palace, it was the Queens Birthday on the 16th, when Ryan Giggs and Teddy Sheringham got knighthood. I was exhausted at the end and can hardly dragged my jetlag body back to Mike’s place for a short nap. Woke up a few hours later and went to Harrods. 
The Food Mall always the best place to wonder around. Went to the oyster bar again and have the white crap meat.  
Lovely. Unfortunately Mike have to work for extra hours, meaning I have to wait in the cold for an hour. Eventually we went to Park Lane Hotel for a meal. 16 June Decided to watch the David Beckham’s lasts Real Madrid news conference instead of the Queen’s thing on TV. Went to Wembley and arrived in pouring rain. 
The stadium is massive and great. Have done almost nothing other than that. Head to Cranbrook and meet up with Dom. |
